Quality Assurance
Ken Paterson Architects has a Quality Management System in place which has been designed by Qcomm Australia in accordance with ISO 9001:2000. This system is being used for the general improvement of practice management and office efficiency and at this stage has not been formally certified.

Ken Paterson Architects has an enviable record in terms of its dealings with clients and government authorities. Since its inception in 1974, KPA has not been involved in one professional indemnity or other legal claim nor has it been found to be in breach of any applicable government laws or standards.

Disaster Recovery
Hardcopy and electronic records are maintained of all CAD drawings.  Our backup system means that even in the most disastrous case we would lose between 1-5 days work.

Daily Backup - Automatic backups are carried out daily using Seagate Travan tape backup drive.

Weekly Backup - Weekly backups of all current working files on the system server are carried out and files are saved to a separate removable hard disk. The back up hard disk is stored off-site in case of a disaster.

Internet Security - KPA have the latest virus scanning software installed on all system computers providing real-time monitoring of all files. This software is automatically updated every 10 minutes via the internet to ensure that all the latest computer viruses are covered.  This works in conjuction with the internet firewall, processing all incoming and outgoing email and internet downloads. This software is also automatically updated.
