On Thursday, 3rd April 2008, the Broome Boulevard Stage 2 Addition opened for business, just in time for the tourist season.
While both the young and the young-at-heart enjoyed the jumping castle, locals and holiday-makers alike explored the host of new tenancies that opened for trading. These included Target, Betts, Bright Eyes, Dick Smith, Prouds, Red Dot, Sportspower and Thingz, with an extended Pharmacy and a relocated, revamped Newsagency also able to trade from the new mall.

For the architecturally minded, the shopping centre has been designed in the ‘Broome Style’, with custom-orb cladding as a feature both inside and outside. The centres pitched roofing is mirrored within, by sloping ceilings to the mall skylights. All-new, high quality mall tiles are a feature throughout Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the shopping centre, as well as new mall furniture.
With all the well-established existing tenancies, including a Woolworths Supermarket, and more tenancies set to open their doors in the near future, the outlook is bright for those seeking retail-therapy in Western Australia’s primary relaxation destination.
