Since KPA began utilising the Autodesk Revit 3D modelling package in 2005, the software has been efficiently incorporated into our documentation system.  Current Woolworths projects at Clarkson, Kelmscott, Woodvale and Karrinyup are well underway, looking to benefit from the Revit cost/time advantage.

 

This advantage stems from the nature of Revit as a complete modelling package, automatically updating all drawings, schedules and area calculations as the model is edited.  The results include greater consistency across all documentation and a reduction of time required to achieve a comparable outcome.

 

While Revit has already been used for projects in the retirement and retail refurbishment sectors, KPA plans to extend the use of this versatile software package so that future projects may benefit similarly.  We are currently beginning documentation on an entire shopping centre using Revit.
